Courtney McCormick, Eastern Michigan University
Biography

Courtney is currently a doctoral fellow at Eastern Michigan University. She is pursuing her studies in educational leadership with an emphasis in higher education, specifically athletic training education. Courtney received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Michigan with an emphasis in athletic training in 2010, and a Master of Science in athletic training from the University of Georgia in 2012. She recently accepted a new position and will join the College of Health and Human Services at Eastern Michigan University in August 2014 as an assistant professor in the athletic training program.
Courtney's research interests are primarily focused around athletic training education including curriculum and design, the history of athletic training education, and how to further connect what students are learning in the classroom and what they are experiencing at their clinical rotations.
